Mar 2, 2023 · Thanks for your help and suggestions, but issue is resolved after following actions taken, 1. Removed existing Hard disk from laptop. 2. Inserted other working laptop Hard disk to this board and tried starting , it worked fine. 3. Removed working hard disk and inserted original non-working hard disk and started then was able to go to bios option.

If you plug in a bootable USB disk (eg Linux rescue disk), does it boot off that? If you are certain there is a useable OS on the hard drive, you may want to go into BIOS and toggle between UEFI and MBR booting.

I found a solution. Turn of the computer completely even if it’s in install update screen. Restart computer and go into windows, choose to: restart again. And you will get back to please wait while… message. Do it all over again 2-3 times. Now it should work.
Solution. Press the Windows key + Shift + Ctrl + B at the same time. This should bring the screen back. Then apply any Windows updates. Starting the PC in safe mode can help narrow down the issue.
Sep 8, 2022 · Earlier today I had experienced an issue trying to open the Microsoft Edge browser on my system. As I thought this was a one-off issue, I thought rebooting the computer would solve the problem. When I rebooted the computer the screen was stuck on "restarting". I waited at least 10 minutes before pressing the power button to force the computer off.

yea when i called lenovo their tech support was having technical difficulties and told me to call back later but i was able to get ahold of them after an hour or so. they told me to use the little reser button on the bottom. thankfully my laptop seems to be fine. thanks so much for responding! 2. r/thinkpad.
